Golden State Warriors and former Davidson College superstar Stephen Curry is responding to a recent Kanye West tweet mentioning him.

On Valentine’s Day, West compared himself to Curry and NBA legend Michael Jordan.

When asked by reporters recently about the tweet, Curry had this to say:

“I’ve seen a lot of his crazy and outlandish tweets, especially in the past month, and then when I saw my name cross through his fingertips, that was, one, pretty funny and honoring at the same time, but then also very weird that he put me in the same conversation as Michael and Kanye.”

Curry went on to mention his favorite meme that resulted from the tweet.

“Someone did a graphic of me in my jersey and Jordan, they dubbed him guarding me, but Kanye’s face was on both of us. That’s my favorite meme of all time — or so far to-date. I’m gonna have to get that one blown up and put on my wall or something.”

Curry is leading the Warriors in a potentially historic season. The team’s record is a jaw-dropping 48-4.
