CLEMMONS, N.C. — A new Publix grocery store is coming to Clemmons and is planned to open sometime late next year.

A spokesperson for the supermarket chain said the location will be at Peace Haven Village on the southwest corner of Lewisville-Clemmons and Peace Haven roads.

The store will be about 49,000 square feet and will employ about 125 to 150 associates, according to the company.

Another Publix location is planned for Winston-Salem sometime this year on Miller Street. The grocer has several other locations across the state.

Publix will start hiring one to two weeks out from a store’s opening date, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.
