CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carowinds amusement park will turn blue on Friday night to show support for the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl.

The park said it will go blue, illuminating the lift hill of the record-breaking coaster, Fury 325, with blue lights.

Also, Skytower, which takes people high above the skies for a bird’s eye view of the park, will feature blue cat eyes.

Several other attractions will feature the blue theme in honor of the Panthers including: Intimidator, Windseeker, Afterburn and the Hurler. There’s also a Panther growl playing in Carowinds’ midways.

The Panthers take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It’s the first time the Panthers have been to the Super Bowl since 2004.
