Neighbors decorate Coach Ron Rivera’s yard for big Super Bowl sendoff

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera’s neighbors decorated his front yard to wish him good luck as he heads to the Super Bowl.

Rivera tweeted a video showing his yard in Charlotte, which had letters set up that read “Keep pounding” and “Good luck coach.”

Rivera also wrote on Twitter that he appreciates and thanks the support of his neighbors.

The Panthers take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

The Panthers are scheduled to leave for the Super Bowl on Sunday. On the Friday before the team’s departure, thousands of fans sang, cheered and danced in uptown Charlotte during a send-off pep rally.
