CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Krispy Kreme plans to give away free doughnuts on Monday to celebrate the success of the Carolina Panthers – but only in Charlotte.

Attendants can get one free original glazed doughnut from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Square on the corner of West Trade and South Tryon streets.

Krispy Kreme will be serving the free doughnuts Monday out of their mobile oven and will also collect charity donations for the Panthers.

The Winston-Salem-based doughnut giant made the announcement on Twitter on Sunday. Krispy Kreme has been making deals all football season.

Usually, they offer a dozen original glazed doughnuts for half-price on the Monday following a Panthers win.

The Panthers have had their best season ever at 15-1. They host the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Playoff on Jan. 17.
