JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation Jacksonville Division released new surveillance video Wednesday of a woman wanted in a multi-state crime spree.
On Monday morning, the woman robbed the Jared Vault in Mebane. She allegedly displayed a handgun and zip tied employees hands before taking merchandise from the store.
The woman is also believed to have executed multiple similarly-styled jewelry store robberies across the Southeast in recent months. The locations include Jared Vault in Sevierville, Tenn., on Oct. 16, 2015; Jared Jewelry in Bluffton, S.C., on Sept. 2, 2015; Reeds Jewelers in Panama City Beach, Fla., on Aug. 11, 2015; Zale’s Jewelry in Dawsonville, Ga., on Aug. 5, 2015; and Jared Jewelry in Woodstock, Ga., on April 29, 2015.
The Mebane store employees said the woman was in her late 20s or early 30s and was approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 120 pounds.
According to the FBI Jacksonville Division, a male suspect in his late 30s or early 40s who is approximately 6 feet tall and 250 pounds is also seen on surveillance video during the robberies in Panama City Beach, Fla., and Woodstock and Dawsonville, Ga.
Surveillance photos appear to show the suspects utilizing multiple vehicles of varying styles, the FBI said.
Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
