Woman uses glass bottle to strike man in head, rob him in northeast Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was struck in the head with a glass bottle and robbed in northeast Greensboro on Monday evening, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Officers responded to 615 Willard St. in reference to a robbery at 5:54 p.m. Monday.

Greensboro police say a woman approached a man, struck him in the head with a glass bottle and robbed him.

The woman fled the scene in a dark blue Jeep Cherokee towards Bessemer Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a heavy-set white female with blond hair who is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and black knee-high boots.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Greensboro police said.
