Police searching for home invader who assaulted victim, stole car

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are looking for a robber who broke into a home early Tuesday morning.

Officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to 1502 Hooks Street at 1:04 a.m. in reference to an assault.

Upon arrival, the victim told officers that a man entered the home, armed with a knife.

According to police, the victim was assaulted and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the home before fleeing the scene in the victim’s red sedan.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
