ASHEBORO, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered teen from Asheboro. 

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Erick Vasquez, 14, who is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment.

Erick is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jean shorts and gray tennis shoes with green laces.

Erick was last seen at Randolph Mall located at 1437 E. Dixie Drive in Asheboro.
