HILLSBOUROUGH, N.C. – A North Carolina couple built and lives in an exact replica of the house from the classic horror movie “Halloween.”

The Daily Mail of London reported that Kenny Caperton and his wife Emily started designing the house in 2008.

They love horror movies and wanted it to look just like the creepy home from the iconic 1978 slasher movie. They even re-did the inside in honor of the movie.

Caperton got the idea after visiting the real “Halloween” house in South Pasadena, Calif. The couple has since completely redesigned their North Carolina home.

“I told people, jokingly, that one day I’d like to live in the Michael Myers house,” Caperton recently told io9.com. “It never crossed my mind that I would ever actually get to do it!”

The replica perfectly matches the outside of the infamous “Halloween” house. If you haven’t seen the horror classic, the picture below shows how it looks in the movie.

Anyone who wants to visit has to first make an appointment. After all, it’s their private home.
