Man shot in Greensboro home invasion

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for suspects who shot a man in his home on Bingham Street early Saturday morning.

Marlease Watson, the victim’s girlfriend, told officers that two masked men came into the home armed with a sawed-off shotgun and a handgun.

The two men shot the victim and left in an unknown direction, police said.

The name of the victim is being withheld by police.

There is no word on the condition of the victim at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
