CASWELL COUNTY, N.C. — Caswell deputies are investigating a possible attempted abduction of two siblings at a bus stop.

A brother and sister, ages 12 and 13, were standing at a bus stop in the 6000 block of N.C. Highway 87 when a car approached them.

The car was originally described as a gold, Honda Civic. However, investigators have since updated that description to a gold 90s Nissan Altima.

Although the investigators say the report came in as a man encouraging the kids to get in the car — further investigation revealed that the man pulled up, got out of the car and stood there — causing the kids to run home to their father.

The father was able to follow the suspect’s vehicle before he lost track of it. The suspect was last seen heading into Alamance County.
