CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The parents of two teens are upset after their children were assaulted by strangers in the parking lot of Scarowinds, according to WCNC.

Now the two moms, who have asked WCNC to hide their identities, are warning other parents about what happened.

In the video, a mob of people surround the teens and throw punch after punch.

“He was attacked inside the park. One guy asked a question, another guy threw him to the ground. When I arrived kids were scrambling, yelling and [there was] not a security guard to be found as I was approaching,” one mom said.

Carowinds responded and said that the fight happened after closing in the parking lot. The park also said they team up with CMPD to increase security during Scarowinds.

“Why didn’t security intervene to help our children? What’s the point in having security? They yelled at my child to stay down while kids were still pounding on him instead of helping him,” the mother told WCNC.

According to police, no arrests have been made so far.
