ROCK HILL, S.C. — A woman was found pinned between her car and her home in Rock Hill on Tuesday, according to WBTV.

A death investigation is now underway to determine how the woman, later identified as 48-year-old Sharon Hinton, became pinned.

A woman who was walking to a neighbor’s home noticed Hinton pinned against her home and called police.

Hinton’s Chevy Equinox was still running and in gear when police arrived on the scene.

Family members told WSOC Hinton may have been trying to prevent her car from rolling forward when the accident happened.

Authorities said Hinton’s death appears to be accidental.
