Suspects rob pizza delivery driver, steal car, lead Greensboro police on chase before crashing

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two men are in custody after allegedly robbing a pizza delivery driver, stealing his car and leading police on a chase before crashing.

At 9:19 p.m. Monday, police responded to 503 S. Booker St. in reference to a robbery.

The victim, a Domino’s pizza delivery driver, said two men robbed him at gunpoint and fled in his vehicle.

Officers located the victim’s vehicle leaving the area and attempted to initiate a traffic stop.

The suspects failed to comply and led police on a short vehicle pursuit before crashing into a fence in the 1400 block of South Elm-Eugene Street.

The suspects fled the vehicle and led officers on a brief foot pursuit that ended with the suspects being apprehended, police said.

Police have not released the names of the suspects.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
