Graham teen arrested in connection with shooting

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A 17-year-old Graham teen was arrested Sunday in connection with a shooting earlier that morning.

Burlington Police responded at around 2:30 a.m. to the 700 block of Durham Street in reference to someone shooting into a residence where people were asleep.

Upon arrival, the officers located witnesses and small caliber bullet holes in a residence.  Through the initial investigation, a suspect was identified.

The incident stemmed from a personal dispute between two individuals.  The shooter was a relative to one of the people in the dispute.  The shooter shot from a moving vehicle.

There were no injuries reported in this incident.

Delvon Billy Spikes was arrested later in the day without incident at his residence.  He is currently being held in the Alamance County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
