Four Florida students hack boy with machete, bury him alive before two have sex near murder scene

MIAMI, Fla. — Four teens hacked a 17-year-old boy and buried him in the woods before two of them had sex by his grave, New York Daily News reported.

Desiray Strickland, 18, was arrested Wednesday, becoming the fourth charged in the killing of Jose Amaya Guardado on June 28, Miami-Dade police said.

Kaheem Arbelo, 20, Jonathan Lucas, 18, and Christian Colon, 19, were arrested and confessed to the crime last week, police said.

The teens planned the attack for two weeks, even digging the grave and hiding a machete in a wooded area near south of Miami.

On June 28, the teens lured Guardado to the woods. There, he was ambushed and struck repeatedly with the machete.

“The victim made one last attempt to fight off the attackers,” a detective wrote, “at which time, (Arbelo) struck the victim with the machete several more times until the victim’s face caved in.”

The four teens then demanded Guardado get in the shallow grave. They buried him there while he was still breathing.

As Lucas and Colon headed back to campus, Strickland and Arbelo stayed behind to have sex, police said.

Guadardo’s brothers found his body three days later. They first saw two feet in a burned area and called police.
