GREENSBORO, N.C. – A pair of Greensboro robbers are targeting people in parking lots who are expecting it least.

Back-to-back robberies occurred between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Wednesday night. The first was outside Unique Hair and Beauty Supply on North Church Street. The second was in the WalMart parking lot off of East Cone Boulevard.

One man, who did not want to give his name, identified himself and his uncle as the victims from the North Church Street armed robbery.

"It's the first time I've ever had a gun that close to my face," he said. "They turned the car and put it right next to us. The passenger came down and had some sort of shotgun. He put it right to my face."

The two robbers stole the mens' wallets, cash and cell phones.

Then, police said they moved to the WalMart parking lot.

911 callers described the same thing - a dark SUV pulling up to them and a man jumping out with a shotgun.

Police said the victims in the second armed robbery were a husband and wife unloading their groceries.

"We just got stood up at the WalMart parking lot," one caller said. "They took my wallet. He said give me everything. And so we just handed everything."

Police were able to quickly find the vehicle because one of the victims wrote down the SUV's license plate number. Police have also recovered the weapon, but have not made any arrests.
