IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. – A North Carolina man shot and killed his two young sons and then tried killing himself, according to authorities.
WCNC reported that 31-year-old Shawn Fuller is currently in critical condition after attempting suicide Sunday morning at his Statesville home.
Authorities said Fuller shot and killed his two sons, ages 3 and 4, and ten turned the gun on himself.
Fuller shot the boys after getting into an argument with the boys’ mother, according to officials. The two boys were brothers and lived in the home with their parents.
The father has been named the suspect in the two fatal shootings. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
