Dale Earnhardt Jr. got an unbelievable gift from a fan and it’s something he will likely never forget.

The NASCAR star recently tweeted that a fan had presented him with his father’s 2001 IROC uniform.

“Quite emotional exchange,” the North Carolina native tweeted. “Completely floored me. Many thanks.”

The gift was the firesuit that Dale Earnhardt Sr. wore while competing in a race at Daytona International Speedway in the now-defunct International Race of Champions Series on Feb. 16, 2001, according to FOX Sports.

Dale Earnhardt Sr. died two days later in a wreck on the final lap of the Daytona 500.
