High Point City Council approves $147,000 for HAECO expansion
HIGH POINT, N.C. — Nearly 150 jobs are one step closer to coming to Guilford County.
Tonight, the High Point City Council unanimously approved giving HAECO Americas $147,000 in incentives.
The company is looking at the possibility of expanding into the former TE Connectivity building on Piedmont Triad Parkway in High Point.
Doing that would bring 147 jobs over the next five years.
The next step is for county commissioners to approve the same amount of incentives in August.
A location decision by HAECO is expected within the next two months.
The building is located at 8010 Piedmont Triad Parkway. The building is within the High Point city limits but has a Greensboro street address.
