Greensboro man arrested with two pounds of marijuana a day after his birthday

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A day after he turned 58, deputies arrested a Greensboro man who allegedly possessed more than 2 pounds of marijuana, according to The Greensboro News & Record.

Guilford County sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Vernon Huddy at his home on Hicone Road last week, according to arrest warrants.

In addition to the marijuana, deputies seized several pipes, a box of clear baggies and a digital scale, according to warrants.

Huddy faces charges of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was jailed under a $40,000 bail.
