Doctors in China have used a 3-D printed titanium implant to save a toddler whose head was three times the normal size.

ABC News reported that the 3-year-old girl had congenital hydrocephalus which caused her head to swell.

It’s a condition the toddler was born with that causes fluid to build up around the brain.

Doctors worked on Hanhan at the People’s Hospital of Hunan Province for 17 hours, according to People’s Daily Online.

The operation was called a success and the girl is expected to make a full recovery, according to reports.
