Burlington police investigating after shots fired into home

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police are investigating after shots were fired into a home early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to 1102 Grace Ave. at about 4:15 a.m. in reference to shots being fired at the residence. When officers arrived, they discovered the residence had been struck multiple times with gunfire.

There were four adults occupants inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.

Officers discovered multiple shell casings in the roadway in front of 1102 Grace Ave. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Burlington Police Department at (336) 229-3500 or Alamance Crime Stoppers at (336) 229-7100.
