Winston-Salem man pleads guilty to 30 counts of child porn

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man who told authorities that he had an addiction to viewing child pornography pleaded guilty to 30 sex offenses Tuesday and was sentenced to at least seven years in prison.

Dravelle Lamount Cannady, 44, of Franciscan Terrace, entered guilty pleas in Forsyth Superior Court to 20 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of minors.

Judge David Hall consolidated the charges into five judgments and sentenced Cannady to a total of seven years and two months to eight years and 10 months in prison.

Cannady will be on five years of post-release supervision after he is released from prison.
