CHICAGO — A man at the Cubs game at Wrigley Field put his newly acquired “Dad reflex” to use on Tuesday.
He caught a foul ball hit by Cubs pitcherJason Hammel from Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.
The catch angered some who said he should have been thrown out of the game for catching a ball that was still in the field of play.
Others were just impressed that he caught the ball while feeding a baby, but they were also concerned for the child.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the umpires awarded the Dodgers an out after coach Don Mattingly protested.
