Police investigate string of six burglaries at businesses in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Police are investigating a string of six burglaries reported at businesses in High Point within the past week.

The latest burglary happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday at Vintage Thrift & Antiques at 1100 N. Main St., according to High Point police.

Police said somebody threw a plant through the window to get inside. The owner of the business told FOX8 that the burglar cut the power and phone lines.

On Wednesday, police said there were five other businesses that were broken into.

Those businesses include locations at 107 Kelly Place suite 102, 103, 104 and 1309 and 1311 Johnson Street.

There is no word on what was stolen or the value of the items.

The investigation is ongoing. There is no suspect information at the time. Anyone with any information can call High Point police at (336) 883-3224.
