Tree crashes through family’s home in Jamestown; no injuries

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — A tree crashed through a family’s home in Guilford County during the storms on Monday, but nobody was injured.

The poplar tree damaged the house at 305 Woodmont Road in Jamestown after crashing into the sunroom.

A family lives there and the wife was at the house at the time and said it shook the entire home.

Storms moved through the Piedmont on Sunday, causing brief power outages in Guilford County.
