Power restored to nearly 5,000 people after outage in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Power has been restored to nearly 5,000 people in High Point after an outage caused by lightning on Monday.

The outages were reported shortly before 3 p.m. and were reported to be restored shortly later.
