GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro woman faces multiple charges after a police chase that happened late Tuesday night, the News & Record reported.

Greensboro police arrested April Lynn Sinclair, 38, of 3020 Robin Hood Drive, after a 3.5-mile chase, according to police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen.

Officer D.C. Fleming was driving northbound on Battleground Avenue at 11:07 p.m., when he saw Sinclair driving southbound without headlights turned on, Danielsen said. Fleming tried to pull Sinclair over, but she refused to stop. Fleming then began a pursuit of Sinclair. Speeds ranged from 30 to 50 mph, according to police.

After about 3.5 miles, Sinclair reached North Holden Road and Benjamin Parkway, where Fleming bumped Sinclair’s car with his patrol car, causing her to spin out, according to Danielsen.
