‘Retro-style’ restaurant that specializes in ‘classic foods’ opens in Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A restaurant that specializes in classic foods from the 1940s and 1950s has opened in Alamance County, according to The Burlington Times-News.

“Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers” recently opened at 1421 Boone Station Drive and has been “very busy,” according to managers.

The retro-style chain is known for their steakburgers, hot dogs and frozen custard. There are also locations in High Point, Cary and Durham.
