KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A man was killed and two others were injured Sunday when a car and motorcycle collided in Kernersville.
The crash occurred in the intersection of Graves and Spring streets.
The driver of a 2010 Cadillac Escalade, Patricia Hickman, attempted to make a left turn from Spring onto Graves.
A 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a John Lee Ellington, was traveling on Graves and was approaching the intersection of Spring when the collision occurred. Ellington and his wife, Christine Ledford Ellington, was ejected from the motorcycle.
The Ellingtons were taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where John Lee Ellington died. Christine Ellington is in critical condition.
Hickman was treated at the scene and was released.
The Kernersville Police Department Traffic Reconstruction Team is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kernersville Police Department.
