Winston-Salem convenience store robbed at gunpoint

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police in Winston-Salem are searching for four men involved in a convenient store robbery early Tuesday morning.

A store employee told police three of the men got out of a four-door sedan at 12:44 a.m. and entered the Circle K, located at 2121 W. Clemmonsville Road.

The suspects then demanded money and cigarettes before leaving the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects were last seen driving south toward Ebert Road. As they drove off one of the suspects fired a gun.

No one was injured during this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
