6 gang members accused in NC couple’s murder to appear in court

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — According to investigators, the six alleged gang members behind several crimes, including the double murder of a Lake Wylie couple, will be in court for a bond hearing Monday morning.

Investigators said the suspects are all members of the United Blood Nation.

Two members are accused of killing Debbie and Douglas London at their Lake Wylie home in October. Police said it was to prevent them from testifying about a robbery at the south Charlotte mattress store the London’s owned.

The suspects also face charges including racketeering and robbery.
