Silver Alert canceled for missing woman in Forsyth County

Update: On April 24 at about 11:40 a.m., Conoly was located in a wooded area near her residence on Rural Hall-Germanton Road.

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing woman in the northern part of Forsyth County.

On Thursday at approximately 6:15 pm, deputies responded to the 2900 block of Rural Hall-Germanton Road in Germanton regarding a missing female. The missing female reportedly suffers from dementia and other medical conditions requiring medication.

The missing person is 69-year-old Frances Conoly, deputies said. She was last seen at her residence at 7:10 a.m. Thursday. At that time she was wearing gray pants, a white short sleeved blouse and red tennis shoes. A ground and aerial search is presently underway in the area where she was last seen. A Silver Alert has also been issued.
