GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man is accused of breaking into a woman’s home, slashing her abdomen with a knife, beating her and urinating on her.

The Greensboro News & Record reported that Lathan Troy McGill Sr., 29, is being held in the Guilford County jail without bail.

The crime happened in the 1700 block of Foust Road about 3:45 a.m. Saturday, according to arrest warrants obtained by the paper.

The suspect allegedly told the victim, “I’m going to kill you,” during the assault, according to the warrant. It remains uncertain whether or not the suspect and victim knew each other.

The suspect faces charges of first-degree burglary, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, communicating threats and resisting a public officer. He has court planned for Monday.
