Burlington police looking for hit-and-run driver

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police are looking for a man accused of hitting another car with a Jeep and leaving the scene, causing about $1,000 worth of damage.

Burlington police said it happened at about 3:15 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of South Church Street.

The hit-and-run was captured on video surveillance from a business, according to police. Images can be seen above.

Police said the suspect was driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee and left the scene after damaging another vehicle. No injuries were reported.
