Trinity man arrested after deputies seize 13 pounds of marijuana from home

TRINITY, N.C. — A Randolph County man has been arrested after deputies seized more than 13 pounds of marijuana from his home, according to authorities.

Ronnie Lee Mashburn, 56, of Trinity, was arrested Friday after the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office searched his home at 112 Lane Drive.

Deputies said they found an indoor marijuana growing operation inside his home and seized 136 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of about $13,400.

Other items seized allegedly included transformers, grow lights and timers and drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect faces multiple charges including manufacturing marijuana and trafficking marijuana, among other marijuana-related charges.

Mashburn was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond.
