GREENSBORO, N.C. — Firefighters are working to put out hot spots on a trail in Greensboro.

The fire broke out about 1/4 mile down a trail near North Church Street and Plainfield Road.

N.C. Forest Service officials said they still aren’t sure how the fire started, but it doesn’t look suspicious.

The fire burned through about 1/2 acre of land.
