WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The craft brews of Appalachian Mountain Brewery Inc. are coming off the mountain and into Winston-Salem this summer.

The Boone company has expanded its partnership with Craft Brew Alliance Inc. of Portland, Ore., with a master distribution agreement that includes its Long Leaf India pale ale, Honey Badger Blond Ale, Black Gold Porter and beers from its small batch series.

Also in the initial distribution range are Charlotte, Greensboro and Hickory, Craft Brew spokeswoman Jenny McLean said today. The agreement includes Craft Brew marketing and selling the beers.

“The beer is on the trucks and arriving at wholesalers this week,” McLean said. The beers will be sold in retail outlets, as well as bars, grills and restaurants.

“We will work our way east to the coast, anticipating being across half of the state by mid-summer selling season,” McLean said.
