Pedestrian struck, killed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, N.C. — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Lexington Tuesday night, according to Lexington police.

The accident happened at about 10:10 p.m. in the 1700 block of Cotton Grove Road.

The pedestrian was struck while crossing Cotton Grove Road by a vehicle traveling southbound.

The pedestrian has not been identified.
