No injuries reported in fire at Danville home Sunday morning

DANVILLE, Va. – The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 130 Baugh St. this morning at 4:41 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire and smoke showing from a two story residential structure, according to officials. No injuries were reported.

Fire damage was extensive and the Red Cross assisted in providing the occupants with a place to stay for a few days.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the fire marshals’ office. Personnel were on the scene for nearly two hours.
