RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina boy accidentally shot his younger brother in the neck with a bow-and-arrow, sending him to the hospital.

WTVD reported that it happened Sunday afternoon at a home in Raleigh. The older brother was 11 and the younger victim was 7, according to the report.

WNCN reported that the incident was an accident. Information about the circumstances of the situation were not immediately available.

The victim was taken to WakeMed, but his condition has not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
