Randolph County man arrested, under investigation for taking inappropriate video of juvenile

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Detectives with the Randolph County Internet Crimes Against Children on Friday filed charges related to a subject under investigation for reportedly taking inappropriate video of a victim under the age of 18.

Dexter Kendall Poole Jr., 24, of Asheboro, is charged with felony abduction of children and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

During the investigation, information was found that the victim was taken from her home without her parent’s consent and provided alcohol by Poole.

Poole was taken into custody on Friday and placed under a $20,000 secured bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court March 24.
