BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — A North Carolina man is in custody and charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to WLOS.

Jonathan Ted Clark, 32, of Asheville, has been charged with multiple second- and third-degree counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Deputies began investigating Clark last year after receiving a tip, according to WLOS. The investigation included the seizure and forensic examination of Clark’s electronic devices.

Clark is accused of possessing, copying, distributing and receiving photographs and videos of children engaged in sex acts with adult males. The victims allegedly range in age from 2 to 14 years old. In some cases they are described as participating in sex acts with one another.

The suspect was placed in the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $62,000 secured bond. He had court Friday.
