LEXINGTON, N.C. — A Lexington woman pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a home invasion three years ago that left one man dead and another critically injured.

Brandi Leigh Robinson, 31, of Eastdale Drive in Lexington, entered guilty pleas Wednesday in Stokes Superior Court to accessory after the fact to second-degree murder and to first-degree burglary in connection to the Sept. 14, 2012 death of Brian Keith McGee, 37, of Winston-Salem. Judge A. Moses Massey of Stokes Superior Court sentenced Robinson to a total of nine years and two months to 13 years in prison on the two charges.

Robinson and two other men – Garrette Wayne Bunch Sr. and his son, Garrette Wayne Bunch Jr. – were all arrested and charged with murder. Robinson pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of accessory after the fact as part of the plea arrangement.

Deputies with the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office were called just before 2 a.m. Sept. 14 and went to 1015 Rill Road. McGee was found shot to death. Brandon Ray Hill, who lived at the house, was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
