Slipknot guitarist stabbed in head by brother during knife fight

CLIVE, Iowa — Slipknot guitarist Mick Thompson and his brother Andrew Thompson were taken to the hospital early Wednesday morning after a knife fight.

According to Billboard, both brothers sustained serious injuries. Mick Thompson sustained a stab wound to the back of the head.

Both brothers appeared to be intoxicated when officers arrived at Mick Thompson’s Clive, Iowa, residence.

Police said none of the injuries were life threatening.

Billboard reached out to the band but they have yet to comment.
