Silver Alert issued for missing man in Durham possibly traveling to Newton

DURHAM, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man in Durham who may be traveling to Newton.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Gary Marvin Brady, 69, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Brady was last seen at North Carolina Central University located at 1801 Fayetteville Road in Durham.

He is 5-foot-9 male and weighs about 250 pounds. Brady wears glasses and has a long beard.

Brady was last seen wearing a navy blue trench coat, a light blue button down shirt, dark blue dress pants and black wing tip shoes.

Officers said he could be traveling west along I-40 to 804 S. Cline Ave. in Newton.

He’s driving a white, 2012 Toyota Camry with the North Carolina license plate number CBN-3132.
