Woman missing for 21 years may be headed through North Carolina

WILMINGTON, N.C. — The family of a woman missing for 21 years believes she may be passing through North Carolina.

WECT reported that Renee Lamanna disappeared from her home in New York in 1994. She was 35 at the time and is now 56.

Lamanna’s sister Margaret has been searching for her ever since. Margaret was recently sent a picture of a woman in Virginia who she believes is her long-long sister, according to the station.

Renee Lamanna’s family believes she is trying to get to Florida and may be passing through North Carolina. Renee Lamanna has brown hair and brown eyes and stands at 5’2,” according to WECT.
