GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- Hundreds of seniors in the Triad rely on Meals on Wheels for food five days a week.

The hot meals are catered by Golden Corral and then delivered by 1,200 volunteers in Guilford County.

However, those deliveries may not happen later this week because of the snow headed this way.

“We sent frozen meals out with our regular hot meals last Friday, just in case we do have to close,” said James Joyce, with Senior Resources of Guilford County

FOX8’s Stephanie Ando talked to volunteers as they made deliveries and provided wellness checks before the storm Wednesday.
